Located in the east of Reykjavik therefore easy access to drive further to the south coast as well as the Golden Circle
The apartment is 80 sqm / 861 square foot. Newly beautifully redecorated with comfortable shower, floor heat, big bedroom. 65" smart TV and Netflix. Fully equipped kitchen. All equipment new. Comfortable TV sofa and Day bed in the living room.
The apartment has separate ground floor access in a villa with separate car parking in front of the apartment where you drive to another side of the villa than other residents.
The neighborhood is quite area in the east part of Reykjavik. Close to the water Raudavatn (Red water) covered with trees and walking trails to the north and to the east we have nature reserve area called Heiðmörk by the water Ellidavatn where locals go very often for walks to enjoy the near and beautiful nature we have. To the south we have the great Ellidadalur valley with the salmon river Ellidavatnsar rivers in the middle, an outstanding nature in the middle of Reykjavik, this is our Central Park where we walk, run or bike in a beautiful surrounding. Close by we have the fantastic Arbæjarlaug swimming pool and the Arbæjarsafn museum where we have collected old houses from downtown Reykjavik, very popular to visit.
It is an easy access when driving out of town so therefore a perfect first stop or last on the Icelandic visit. Only 10 minutes drive to the city center. Nearest bus stop only few minutes walk.
